With mergers and acquisitions, it's getting harder to find some publishers. (For instance, Shawnee recently purchased Mark Foster, and Warner-Chappel now owns Lawson-Gould, H.W. Gray, and CPP-Belwin.)

If you have no local music dealer to help you, you might try an internet firm such as Sheet Music Plus or J.W. Pepper or the helpful folks at University Music.
